THE CULTURE EXCHANGE

This modern tale follows Damena, a Ghanaian student who joins a cultural exchange program in Brazil. Welcomed warmly by her host family, the Silvas, she shares her Ghanaian traditions—through cooking, music, and storytelling—while immersing herself in Brazilian culture, learning samba, and celebrating local holidays. The experience deepens her appreciation for her own heritage while fostering lifelong connections across cultures. As the program expands to include participants from around the world, Damena’s journey highlights the transformative power of cultural exchange in promoting understanding, global citizenship, and the celebration of diversity.
